Tiny Peas and Pearl Onions Recipe

6 servings



1/2 package frozen pearl onions

1/2 cup water

2-3 teaspoons margarine or butter

1/2 teaspoon each: dried mint leaves, dill weed

Salt and pepper, to taste


Heat onions and water to boiling in medium saucepan, reduce heat and simmer until tender, 8 to 10 minutes, adding peas during the last 5 minutes. Drain. Add margarine and herbs, stirring until melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
