Creamy Potato and Bean Mashers Recipe

6 servings



1 pound Idaho potatoes, unpeeled, quartered, cooked

1 can Great Northern or navy beans, rinsed, drained

1-2 teaspoons minced roasted garlic

2 tablespoons margarine or butter

1/4 - 1/2 cup fat-free milk, hot

Salt and pepper, to taste


Mash potatoes, beans, garlic and margarine using potato masher or electric mixer, adding enough milk for desired consistency, season to taste with salt and pepper. Heat in saucepan over medium heat until hot, about 5 minutes.
