Chayote with Pepitas Recipe4 servings
Ingredients: 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 chayote squash, peeled, pitted, cubed 4 teaspoons pepitas, toasted Salt and pepper, to taste |
Method: Saute onion and garlic in lightly greased large skillet until tender, 3 to 5 minutes. Add squash and cook over medium heat until squash is crisp-tender, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in pepitas, season to taste wit salt and pepper. |
