Chili Banzos Recipe

These highly spiced crisp snackers are great tasting and good for you too !



2 cans garbanzo beans, rinsed, drained

Olive oil cooking spray

1 tablespoon reduced-sodium Worcestershire sauce

2-3 dashes hot pepper sauce

1-2 teaspoons each: chili, garlic and onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt


Dry beans well on paper toweling and transfer to large skillet; spray generously with cooking spray. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until beans begin to brown, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat, drizzle combined Worcestershire and pepper sauce over beans and toss. Sprinkle with combined remaining ingredients and toss. Transfer mixture to jelly roll pan and bake at 325 degrees until beans are very crisp on the outside, 20 to 25 minutes, stirring twice. Cool, store in airtight container.
