Very Berry Smoothie Recipe

6 servings



1 1/2 - 2 cups orange juice

1 can Great Northern or navy, beans, rinsed, drained

1 cup each: fresh or frozen strawberries and blueberries

1 small banana

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

6-8 ice cubes

Honey, to taste


Process all ingredients, except honey, in blender or food processor until smooth. Sweeten to taste with honey.


Note: Perfect for a nutritious snack or light meal when you need a pick-me-up.
