Fettuccine with Gorgonzola Sauce Recipe

Gorgonzola lends rich flavor to this creamy sauce



2 cups fat-free milk

1/4 cup each: dry white wine or milk, all-purpose flour

3 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled

2 tablespoons margarine or butter

1/4 teaspoon pepper

12 ounces fettuccine, cooked, warm


Whisk milk, wine and flour in medium saucepan until smooth, heat to boiling, whisking until thickened, 1 to 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low and whisk in cheese, margarine, and pepper, cook until cheese is melted, 1 to 3 minutes. Serve over fettuccine.
