Cheese Fondue Recipe

Cheese Fondue Recipe

Flavored with wine and a hint of garlic, this creamy fondue is made with fat-free cheese.



1 1/2 cups dry white wine or fat-fat milk

2-3 large cloves garlic, peeled

2 packages fat-fee cream cheese

2 cups shredded fat-free Swiss cheese

1 tablespoon flour

Salt and cayenne pepper, to taste

French bread, cubed, for dipping


Heat wine and garlic to boiling in medium saucepan, reduce heat and simmer rapidly, uncovered, until reduced 3/4 cup, about 15 minutes, discard garlic. Add cream cheese and stir over low heat until melted. Toss shredded Swiss cheese with flour, add to saucepan and stir until melted. Season to taste with salt and cayenne pepper. Serve in fondue pot or bowl with bread cubes for dipping.
