Herbed Broccoli and Pasta Soup Recipe6 first-course servings
Ingredients: 3 cans reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves 3 cups small broccoli florets 1 cup uncooked fusilli (spirals) 2-3 tablespoons lemon juice Salt and pepper, to taste |

Method: Heat broth, garlic, and thyme to boiling in medium saucepan. Stir in broccoli and fusilli. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until broccoli is tender and pasta is al dente, about 10 minutes. Season to taste with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
