Orange Glazed Baby Carrots Recipe

3/4 cup orange juice

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon each: ground all spice, mace

1 tablespoon margarine or butter

Salt and white pepper, to taste

1 pound baby carrots, cooked crisp-tender, warm


Mix orange juice, brown sugar, cornstarch, and spices in small saucepan, heat to boiling. Boil, stirring until thickened, about 1 minute. Stir in margarine, season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in carrots.
