If this snack mix isn't hot enough for you, add a few sprinkles of red pepper sauce! Use 2 cups of purchased plain pita chips can be used.

 

Ingredients:

2 cups oyster crackers

Pita Chips

1/2 cup dry roasted smoked almonds

1 cup each: coarsely chopped mixed dried fruit, dried pineapple chunks

Butter-flavored cooking spray

1 teaspoon each: dried oregano leaves, garlic powder, chili powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper

Method:

Mix crackers, pita chips, almonds and dried fruit on large jelly roll pan. Spray mixture generously with cooking spray; sprinkle with combined remaining ingredients and toss. Bake at 350 degrees 15 to 20 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes, cool and share in covered container.
