Goat Cheese Quesadillas with Tropical Salsa Recipe

4 ounces fat-free cream cheese, softened

2 ounces goat cheese

1/2 small jalapeno chili, minced

1/2 teaspoon each: dried marjoram and thyme leaves

1/8 teaspoon white pepper

8 whole wheat or white flour tortillas (6-inch)

Vegetable cooking spray

Tropical Salsa


Combine cream cheese, goat cheese, jalapeno chili, herbs and white pepper, spread about 3 tablespoons mixture on each of 4 tortillas. Top with remaining tortillas.


Cook 1 quesadilla in lightly greased medium skillet on medium to medium-low heat until browned on the bottom, 2 to 3 minutes. Spray top of quesadilla with cooking spray, turn and cook until browned on other side. Repeat with remaining quesadillas. Cut into wedges, serve with Tropical Salsa.
