Home-Style Turkey Stew Recipe4 servings
Ingredients: 12 ounces boneless, skinless turkey breast, cubed 2 medium onions, cut into thin wedges 4 ounces mushrooms, halved 2 teaspoons olive oil 2 each: sliced carrots, cubed potatoes 1 can reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth 1 teaspoon each: dried thyme leaves, celery seeds 1 cup frozen peas Salt and pepper, to taste |

Method: Saute turkey, onions, and mushrooms in oil in large saucepan until lightly browned, about 8 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, except peas, salt, and pepper, heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until turkey and vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes, adding peas during the last 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. |
