Chicken in Wine Sauce Recipe6 servings
Ingredients: 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves 4 ounces small mushrooms 12 pearl onions, peeled, halved 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 tablespoon flour 6 small new potatoes, halved 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled 1/2 teaspoon each: dried thyme leaves, salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 cup each: reduced sodium chicken broth, dry red wine |

Method: Sauté chicken in lightly greased large skillet until browned, about 5 minutes on each side, remove from skillet. Add mushrooms, pearl onions and garlic, sauté until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with flour and cook 1 minute. Combine all ingredients in 2 1/2 quart casserole. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees until chicken and vegetables are tender, about 1 hour. |
