Pasta with Tomato and Meatball Sauce Recipe8 servings Herb-Seasoned Meatballs can be made up to two days in advance, making the sauce very easy to complete.

Herb-Seasoned Meatballs 1 pound ground turkey or lean beef 1/3 cup unseasoned dry bread crumbs 1 egg white 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper |

Method: Saute onion and garlic in oil in large saucepan 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and liquid, tomato suace, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper, heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Add Herb-Seasoned Meatballs; simmer, uncovered, until medium sauce consistency, 10 to 15 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve over spaghetti.
Herb-Seasoned Meatballs Mix all ingredients; shape into 18 meatballs. Cook meatballs over medium heat in lightly greased skillet until cooked and browned on all sides, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain well.
