Swedish Meatballs with Noodles Recipe

1 pound very lean ground beef

1/2 cup each: finely chopped onion, unseasoned dry bread crumbs

1/3 cup fat-free milk

1 egg

1 teaspoon dried dill weed

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

Pinch ground cardamom

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

Cream Gravy

3 cups cooked noodles, warm

Chopped fresh dill weed or parsley, as garnish


Combine ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, milk, egg and seasonings, shape into 24 meatballs. Bake in baking pan at 425 degrees until meatballs are cooked and browned, 15 to 20 minutes. Combine meatballs with Cream Gravy. Spoon over noodles, and sprinkle with dill weed.
