Just Plain Meat Loaf Recipe6 servings
Ingredients: 1 1/2 pounds very lean ground beef 1 cup quick cooking oats 1/2 cup fat-free milk 1 egg 1/4 cup catsup or chili sauce 1/2 cup each: chopped onion, green bell pepper 1 teaspoon each: minced garlic, dried Italian seasoning 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper |

Method: Mix all ingredients until blended. Pat mixture into ungreased loaf pan, 9 x 5 inches, or shape into a loaf in baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees until juices run clear and meat thermometer registers 170 degrees, about 1 hour. Let stand in pan 10 minutes, invert onto serving plate. |
