Gyros Burgers Recipe4 servings
Ingredients: 8 ounces each: lean ground beef, ground lamb 2 tablespoons chopped onion 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon each: dried oregano leaves, dill weed 1 teaspoon salt 4 pita breads
Gyros Relish 1 each: seeded, chopped small cucumber, medium tomato, sliced green onion 2/3 cup plain fat-free yogurt 1/2 teaspoon each: dried mint and oregano leaves |

Method: Combine ground meats, onion, garlic, herbs, and salt, shape into 4 patties. Cook in large skillet over medium heat to desired degree of doneness, about 5 minutes on each side for medium. Serve in pitas with Gyros Relish.
Gyros Relish: Mix all ingredients. |
