White Sauce Recipe

2 cups

 

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon margarine or butter

2 tablespoons flour

2 cups fat-free milk

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper

Method:

Melt margarine in medium saucepan, stir in flour. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 1 to 2 minutes. Whisk in milk and heat to boiling: boil, whisking until thickened, about 1 minute (sauce will be very thin). Remove from heat, stir in cheese and pepper.
