Putting On The Ritz Bars Recipe

2 1/2 dozen bars

 

Ingredients:

1 package marshmallows

4 tablespoons margarine or butter

3 cups rice cereal

1/2 cup flaked coconut

1 cup each: dried cranberries or raisins, chopped dried mixed fruit

1/2 - 3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

2 ounces semisweet baking chocolate, melted

Method:

Heat marshmallows and margarine in large saucepan over low heat until melted, stirring frequently. Stir in remaining ingredients, except chocolate, mixing well. Press into an even layer in greased 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan, refrigerate 1 hour. Drizzle top with chocolate, refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes. Cut into bars.
