Spiced Apple Prune Jam Recipe

About 2 pints



4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, sliced

1 package pitted prunes, chopped

1 cup unsweetened apple juice

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon each: ground all spice, lemon juice


Heat all ingredients to boiling in large saucepan, reduce heat and simmer, covered 10 minutes. Simmer, uncovered, until fruit is tender and mixture is a jam consistency, about 15 minutes. Pour into jars, cool and cover with lids. Refrigerate up to 3 weeks.
