Ingredients: 1 pound each: firm, ripe pears and apples, peeled, cored, chopped 1 can frozen apple juice concentrate 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest 1/4 teaspoon each: ground ginger and cinnamon |

Method: Heat all ingredients to boiling in large saucepan, reduce heat and simmer, covered, until pears and apples are tender and mixture is a jam consistency, 20 to 30 minutes. Pour into sterilized jars, cool and cover with lids. Refrigerate up to 2 weeks. |
